Greetings,

We are JD and Joyce Rapp, from southwest Michigan. 
JD is a VP of Finance for Whirlpool Corp. (makers of the world’s finest home appliances, *wink).  His hobby is composing and playing music, mostly jazz piano/combo arrangements. 

I am a retired geek, and was also a surgical tech in an “earlier life”.  I have two grown kids from earlier marriages.  JD and I have been married 16 years…he has lasted longer than my first two hubs combined. Lol.  For fun I like to cook, craft pottery and stained glass, garden (horribly), and read.

My father was a career Foreign Service security officer for the USA during the cold war (read spy), and I lived overseas until I was 13.  I grew up traveling and never outgrew it. 

For Christmas 2002 and 2004, JD gave me cruises!  He does not like traveling, so he gave me “certificates” to invite a friend and take a cruise.  Lo and behold, last year he informs me he is ready to try a cruise himself.  You could have knocked me over with a feather!  Well, he was immediately hooked and this will be his second cruise, both on RCI and both in OS staterooms.

We are flying into Houston G. Bush on 2/12 and staying at the Hilton on Galveston that night.  For the cruise, we are booked in OS-1320. Hope to meet you all soon.
