Gene and Susan Curry

We are Gene and Susan Curry, living in Bacliff, Texas south of Houston along Galveston Bay. Gene is an Engineering Specialist at the University of Texas Medical Branch on Galveston Island, Susan is with a NASA contractor at the Johnson Space Center.

We met at a dance club back in 1997 and have been together ever since. Today, dancing is a major activity. We belong to two Ballroom clubs and take lessons weekly at the Space Center. 

We're hooked on cruising; especially cruising with friends we have met on Cruise Critic! We discovered CC before sailing on the Grand Princess in 2004. Our group had a precruise party in Galveston, and a Mix & Mingle on board.  We have become fast friends and cruised again with several of them, and add new cruisers along the way. Now we plan weekend visits and future trips together.  Whether roaming the ship and ports or sharing excursions, cruising with people you know really makes the experience that much more unique and fun!

Gene (aka Gentleman Gene) is known for his quick wit and seemingly endless amount of facts and information.  Along with social ballroom, cooking and tropical gardening are his hobbies.

Susan is the webmaster for this web site. When she is not computing at work or spending time with her girls, she computes at home.
